New Sony WH-CH710N Wireless Over-Ear Headphones Black review

Sound quality and noise cancelling in these head phones are good. But I should have done more research before I went and bought these online. The issue is with their usability. The placement of the buttons (on the bottom of the ear covers) is so awkward, that you need to take the headset off just to...

New Sony WH-CH710N Wireless Over-Ear Headphones Black review

Had the headphones for 2 weeks now. I bought this primarily to use for work and also to block out ambient noise outside the home (neighbours renovating and building a pool next door). Easy to pair to mobile phone, tv etc..

Love them!

I've had these headphones for a week now. Purpose was to drown out my teenage son's yelling while playing Fortnite when I needed to study. They do that. Quite a good range too. Covers the whole house if I walk away from my phone while wearing them. Sound and bass are great too. These are my first pair of wireless headphones so I'm no expert but they do exactly what I wanted them to and were great value.

Sony WH-CH710N Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones WHCH710NB review

The WH-CH710N does not impress me with the overall build quality or sound quality, while the ANC and ambient sound modes are average. For S$249, it is one of the least pricy ANC headphones among the big brands, and considering the WH-1000XM3 costs almost double, the WH-CH710N is a compromise and is...

Lightweight and comfortable; Relaxed audio tuning; full and not too bright; Long battery life

Plastic build does not match the price; Average ANC and Ambient Sound; No app support; Long voice prompts when switching ANC modes

Sony WH-CH710N Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones WHCH710NB review

If what you need in a pair of headphones, primarily, is that you get long battery life and decent sound on a low budget, the Sony certainly delivers that. The noise cancelling might not have as much impact as we'd like, but it's not useless, and the sound is enjoyable.

Enjoyable and dynamic sound; Lightweight design is easy to wear for long periods; Affordable price point

Cheap and plasticky build; Buttons are a bit fiddly; Not the cleanest listen ever; Noise leaks (both in and out)

Sony WH-CH710N Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones WHCH710NB review

The WH-CH710N is the latest wireless headphone from Sony boasting superior audio quality, battery life and noise cancellation at an affordable price point. Sony WH-CH710N has been launched at Rs 9,990 and is positioned as an affordable alternative to the top-end WH-1000XM3, which is one of the best...

New Sony WH-CH710N Wireless Over-Ear Headphones Black review

Sony makes good gear – a statement that you can count on. But once you have used the WH-1000xM3, the WH-CH710N simply don’t cut it in comparison. So, with the caveat that you have not been spoiled, t hese are decent headphones with a reasonably good sound signature and a very good battery life.

Good bass and treble – balanced sound signature for handsfree use, Similar performance in cable or BT, Lightweight – should suit extended wear, It’s a Sony is worth a slight price premium

No app or EQ, Earcups are not deep, No carry case or fold-up design, Basic noise cancelling, No aptX or higher-res codecs, Extraordinarily long 7-hour charge time
