Sony has improved upon the original WF-1000X in just about every way, although they're not cheap, the WF-1000XM3 is the new benchmark for true wireless earbuds.

With the WF-1000X, Sony was already playing at the top of the True Wireless league over two years ago. Now the manufacturer is sending a fresh player out onto the highly competitive playing field with this new second version.

If it isn’t already apparent, the Sony WF-1000XM3 checked all of my boxes. Some bugs on the phone app could be improved in future updates, and they work just as fine without the companion app.

Sony took two years to improve on its first ANC-sporting true wireless earbuds and that time was clearly well spent. Just about everything has been enhanced in this updated generation.

had to return, i watch a lot of netflix etc on my tablet, everything is out of sync with the videos, if you are buying for music / podcasts etc then there are awesome and noise cancelling is fantastic. but for watching movies they actually are so terrible
