The Sony WF-1000XM3 is another superb noise-cancelling headset from the behemoth company. These flagship true-wireless earbuds pack a punch with their ANC performance which effectively quiets ambient noise, be it chatter at a coffee shop or an airplane engine.

I already own the Sony WH-1000XM2 so I familiar with the sound and noise cancellation quality of Sony headphones. The WF-1000XM3 is no exception. Although the sound quality is no match to the WH-1000XM2 but it's very good for something much smaller in size.

Initially disappointing - it might even have been a 3 star review at one point; but after a week of regular use I cannot fault them. It took a while experimenting with different sizes of tips and a bit of practice putting the earbuds in before I could be confident they would not fall out, the sound...
I am a gym rat (HIIT, Indoor Cycling, and CrossFit) and am always hesitant when exploring new options due to fit which is very important to me. Additionally, I have always appreciated the noise-canceling feature as I travel via plane a lot. I definitely found both great features in Sony True!

The Sony WF-1000XM3 earbuds are some of the top in-ear options for 2020. Here's how they perform in our review.
Good sound; Excellent noise-cancelling; Remarkable battery life
No waterproofing; No aptX
I have never owned any other device of this type hence I have nothing to compare these too so I can't give 5 star rating, these are however absolutely brilliant and I can't fault them.

So when Sony released its true wireless earbud version, the WF-1000XM3, in 2019, we weren’t surprised at all when they wowed us by offering substantial noise-canceling, great fidelity, and the same great app-based features we have enjoyed from the company for years. We still think very highly of the WF-1000XM3, but these competitors have proven that Sony’s accomplishments are no longer unique. The WF-1000XM3’s name confusingly bears an “M3,” or Mark 3, to match the uber-popular over-ear WH-1000XM3 (which have since been superseded by the even be...
