The Sony SRS-XB21 isn't the most affordable portable speaker around, but you'll be hard-pressed to find any other units within the same price with same quality audio.

Bit more than I was looking to pay for a travel speaker but it is for 3 months in Brazil and more if it makes it back) but, my gosh it packs a punch. Came highly recommended to me from a man who knows his stuff and I'm happy to add my endorsement to his!

I wanted a speaker for Kindle Fire 8HD. Needed crisp audio for listening to radio programs and audio books. Chatted with Steve M. from B&H. He recommended the Sony SRS-XB21. I bought it. Pairing & set-up were easy. Sony online has easier to read guides.

Was pleasantly surprised, a very good sound for the small format. Some extra features if you download the app to it. Easy to pair it with your phone.

The battery life does last a long time and the extra bass sounds amazing. Sometimes when it isn't fully charged it can't play music as loud so I keep it plugged in all day now.

I was expecting much more from this speaker. Firstly, the battery dies after 1 day of playback. I used to have speakers that were 1/3 price and would work for 3-4 days without charging so this is quite disappointing as these speakers aren't cheap at all.

The is a good quality speaker. I decided on this one as is it waterproof so if I ever leave it in the garden overnight then it should still be ok. It's small enough and light enough to Chuck in the bag where ever we are going - park / beach / or just down to the end of the garden.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, the sound is amazing for how small it is, was pleasantly surprised.

I took a while choosing which speaker was best for me and finally decided this one, very glad I did connection through NFC was a breeze sound quality great for what I need it for. It looks great to feels solid its amazing how much sound comes from a small speaker, but seriously no plug
