Sony SRS-XB01 EXTRA BASS Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Black SRSXB01B review

The Sony SRS-XB01 is a likable little speaker that's well designed and sounds decent enough for its budget price.

The Sony SRS-XB01 is an attractively designed mini Bluetooth speaker that sounds decent for its size and is relatively inexpensive; It's shower-ready and has speakerphone capabilities.

Some larger "mini" speakers in this price range deliver fuller sound with higher volume.

Sony SRS-XB01 review: Sony's cheap mini Bluetooth speaker is worth buying

Typically Sony's entry-level mini Bluetooth speakers have started at $50. But the SRS-XB01 lists for $35 (£30, AU$50) and sometimes gets discounted to $25. That's pretty inexpensive.

Punching Above its Weight!

Truth be told, I dont know much at all about audio tech. I was just looking for something better than the awful speakers Apple put in my iMac mini, So I bought this for $25. Theyre a little complex to tune in, you have to through the tuning process four or five times before it kicks in.

Low sound

Can barely hear when half way up and then if you raise volume a touch, it becomes too loud for background noise at work to keep at your work station.

Amazing sound

Gave this as a Xmas gift to my mom, and she absolutely loved it! For someone that is not into technology, this speaker is pretty straight forward to use. And the sound is horrendously great for its size.

Surprisingly big sound!

I think the first thing I will say right away is how amazed I was at how BIG the sound is for such a small speaker! I and my family were incredibly surprised, to say the least. We use the speaker in the bathroom and due to it being a Water Resistant Wireless Bluetooth Speaker we were not at all...

No battery status

I need battery status, and 1200 mha battery. I like the sound of this product. But it's short life. And i don't know battery status. I also have xb 30 , sound so deep, i don't like that. I like sound of xb01 more than xb 30, but battery life make me sad

Sony XB01 Bluetooth Portable Speaker

This item was perfect. However, after about a month of use, the speaker no longer holds a charge. It is useless after a few minutes of being unplugged from the charging port. I have tried using other charging ports and the problem continues, indicating it is an issue with the device and not the...

Great sound for such a small item

I was shocked at the size of the speaker when I went to pick it up but was surprised at the sound it produced. I wouldn't say it has 'Xtra Bass' but it has clear quality sound. Definitely would purchase this again!
