The Sony SRS-M50 speakers can be used as regular speakers, plugged into an outlet, or be used as travel speakers, running solely on battery power. These speakers are fairly compact and can be carried along, with little difficulty, wherever the user may go.
Pros:
- The Sony SRS-M50 come with an optional AC adaptor in case you run out of batteries
Cons:
- The sound output isn't that impressive

Good speakers
Pros: Speakers are small but have a good sound. Cons: the sound was no louder than my computer speakers alone.

GOOD SOUND
THE SPEAKERS ARE A VERY GOOD CONSTRUCTED AN THE SOUND IS HE BEST FOR A LAPTOP OR OHER DEVICE. BUT THE CABLE FROM THE SPEAKER TO DEVICE IS TOO SHOTR.

Nice speakers if you have your AC adaptor TOO!
the speakers work well, but it cost too much for the batteries if you don't have a AC adaptor. Overall, this is a great product!

At this price, excellent.
Pros:
- Excellent Stereo Imaging and Sound Quality
- considering the price
- Volume is 5W
- and at this price this is actually very good
- Compact
Cons:
- Somewhat weak bass
- but at this price and volume
- acceptable

SONY 2.1 PORTABLE SPEAKERS
I use it with the computer and also use the aux jack with the flat panel TV for better audio.
Pros:
- Great speaker system, I agree with the positive reviews
- Remote is great to adjust volume across the room
Cons:
- The aux jack could have been put in the rear of the b module instead of the front where you can see the cord plugged into the unit.

Powerful little speakers
This is what I wanted to enhance the sound of my Vaio laptop. The volume is just right for the entire 800 sq. ft room. So smooth, I can hear every instrument. . I just love these tiny speakers!

Not worth the time to buy
I have a lot of Sony products but this isn't worth taking home. Volume couldn't be set past mid way with out popping and cracking. For over 50 dollars I expect more.

"Be mobile with perfect stereo, Sony SRS-M50"
There are lots f portable speakers' available in the market but the channel separation or stereo separation is hardily there as a consequence they make excellent players sound just acceptable.
