This lens will work with any Sony or Minolta lens that is white in color. I have both the 1.4X and the 2X Teleconverters. I prefer the 1.4X.

No Loss Of Contrast

Works wonderfully with the Sony 100-400mm lens. I didn't notice any loss in sharpness. Good combination for taking pictures of Birds.

Great addition to 100-400 G Master, adds reach at small aperture loss.

Great Picture Quality

I had to wait quite awhile for this lens. It was worth it. I am a recent convert to a Sony a7 r ii from Nikon. The transition is proving daunting but this lens makes it all worth while. And special thanks to Abt for being the only place able to obtain it!

This has been a very good investment no loss of speed or quality and if you are thinking about it go for it you will not regret it

I was searching for a device that could give me a little more zoom to my Sony FE100-400mm and came across the Sony SEL14TC 1.4X Teleconverter. I couldn't be happier with the results I got! I did do some reach and the consensus was that the 1.4x Teleconverter is better than the 2.0x Teleconverter.

Bought a month ago. Works great with the exception of fast action and sports on my 70200 f2.8 GM OSS lens. Don't let that stop you though! Does well aside from that.
