These headphones are perfect for low pitch rhythmic noise (eg airplane engine, air conditioner noise, and bass of the music blaring next door). Does not block out higher pitch sounds

These phones sound really nice, for being under $20. I have owned at least 30 different headphones since 1974, and these sound as good as any of the $100 Sennheisers I had back when Elton John's "Rocket Man" was new music.

Replaced some old cheap "JAYS" brand lightweight headphones. I was actually shocked at how bad the Sony ZX110's are compared to the Jays. Voices are muffled, Bass is clearly boosted to the extreme above everything else trying to hide the terrible clarity of the speakers.

Absolutely ok sound, decent bass. However, the headphones / headset is too plastic to carry Sony's logo, not something I would associate with Sony if I was a "brand manager". It feels like they should go off any second. Hard scratchy plastic in the jumper.

Not at all good.. it worked for one month. After one month the right side ear piece stopped working no sound at all inspire of delicate handling..

Although most of my commute listening happens with the very good in ear headphones from Samsung I find these are very tricky to use when at home on my laptop hence late October I paid ￡29.99 for the Sony MDR-ZX110NAB "noise cancelling" headphones.

In a quiet room, the sound quality of these headphones is pretty good, but they do a pretty poor job of blocking anything that's at all loud. They're fairly comfortable, unless you wear glasses – they squeeze my glasses uncomfortably into the size of my head.

Great headphones for their price. They work really well and have great sound quality but I didn't give 5 stars as from time to time the play/pause button (where the microphone is) sometimes activates itself when the wire is moved. Also the sound is great but the bass and sub-bass quality is low.

According to warranty card in both of the ones I purchased, warranty is only valid in USA. Disappointing considering I purchased these based on warranty. Hopefully nothing goes wrong.
