Ignoring the price, the Sony MDR-Z1000s are a durable set of over-ears that will probably have longevity on their side, compared to other headphones-the catch is that you're certainly paying for that, and not getting the performance for the price.

Fist time i use this z1000, it did not impress me at all. I feel like a dull sound and not open. until i realized that i need to get used to it before i can enjoy this cans. After i have had brain-burn in..spend about almost a week...than i started to enjoy the lush of its mids.
Balance sound; lush mids; good music separation; clean sound; good minimalis looks; solid build; perfect fit
need a bit of punch at low end; narrow soundstage
In developing the Z-series, predictably Sony has hitched a ride aboard the Android wagon, delivering what looks and feels just like a high-end smartphone, only without the phone bits. Or a camera. There are plenty of good reasons for this approach.
very nice, arrived fast, and pretty good production, worth to buy it. Z1000 , best headphone with the price between 300 -400.
