Poor Quality Constant Humming Noise

Bought these and returned them same day. As soon as connected to phone you get a hum/buzzing noise in the background. Can't hear it as bad at high volume. Always used Sony with no problem but upon reading other reviews on this model they all have the problem. Bass does sound good though.

Ad never said 'extra bass', anywhere

The issue isn't the product. It is with Target's lack of 'full disclosure'. I specifically searched for a set of wireless earbuds that did not have a bass-boosting element. This one didn't have bass boost listed anywhere, not in the description, the details, on the picture of the product.

First Impressions excellent

So far I'm very impressed with these. The sound quality is excellent with plenty of bass. The bluetooth pairing to my ipad was easy but it took 3 or 4 attempts to pair to my android phone - it's an old phone so it may have been the phone at fault.

Buy these for listening to bass heavy genres only. No good for calls and general use.

When they say extra bass, they really mean it. I bought these to listen to Drum n Bass, rap, edm, etc. and they're great for those genres. However, any Rock/Jazz/Pop/classical sounds like trash on these. The mids are overly subdued and the highs are sharp but there's no volume to them.

Sony Headphones

Pros: Lightweight, good quality Cons: When wearing them but not using them they tend to dangle almost into my coffee cup Other thoughts:

Sony In-Ear Dynamic Headphones MDR-XB70-B (Black)

I like these just a little better than my Sony MDR XB90ex, which I think is saying a lot. They both have a very ergonomic design that allows them to stay in ear securely and comfortably for long periods of time.

Comfortable; cheap; slammin' bass; ergonomic design

Not as sparkly up high; but true to Sony house sound

Really good sound quality

I returned a Jabra Halo as the microphone was flakey and sound ordinary. The Sony has great sound - it does have extra bass! I rate the sound quality high for ear buds. The microphone is crisp, and the bluetooth works brilliantly.

Almost Perfect

Had these for about a month - replaced a set of completely wireless bluetooth in-ear 'phones whose sound quality was OK but sound kept dropping out. These Sony wired 'phones have noticeably better sound, better bass and the sound doesn't break up at all.

Perfect for death metal.

What an amazing headphone (earphone)! Perfect for listening to death metal. Enhances the bass as it says it does. I use Spotify and adjusting the equalisers a bit down from bass towards treble and the other one towards instrument gives an awesome effect. Turn on Dolby Atmos. Definite thumbs up.
