I had a pair of the same headphones that I had bought for my portable CD player. I did not like the ones that came with the initial packaging. They fit over the head. I do not like ear buds either, so I had bought the pair of behind the head and over the ear type.

Sony Headphones MDR-G45
Bought these headphone during the holiday season because of its wrap around design. So far the ear pads are not falling apart. I use it fairly often. Its unique wrap around really does stay in place unlike ear plugs which have a tendency to fall out.

Comfortable and very good for the money
This pruchase was to replace one just like it that the connection was going bad. Has it for at least 10 years and used almost daily. I wanted the same because of the head confort and price.

Best headphones
I had a previous version of the Sony behind the neck headphone. They were great, until I got them caught on the exercise machine in the gym. The wire broke and that was the end of that. This new headset is not only more comfortable, but the sound is super!

Great value for money
Better than my $ 100.00 senheiser headphones can use them when working on construction site light and clear sound AAAAA+++++

Tired of Broken Headphones, Try Sony MDRG45LP Model, Solid at a Reasonable Price!
When it comes to wearing stereo headphones when working out, I gave up. Expensive models with great sound I would catch the wires on a machine and rip them out. Less expensive with the Q-Tip ear plugs I could not keep them in my ears, treadmill would pop them out. Individual ear clip model
Pros:
- Cord is positioned on only one side
- helps keep it out of the way
Cons:
- Won't interfere with your hairstyle
- but I guess you need hair

Awesome Product
1 year ago i bought Sony MDR-G45LP as they are very stylish. But that time i was not sure about their sound quality. I took the risk and they didn't let me down. few months back they broke down and despite of trying new one i bought it again.

'Goes Perfect With My Tunes'
I ran out earlier and grabbed a pair of these portable "Sony-Street Style Neckband Headphones". I needed something I can wear, while I'm listening to my tunes, and thought these were perfect. The behind the neck headband is pretty cool. Ya barely feel them.

Mediocre
It's okay for making it through the workday, but the bit it squeezes on the ears can make it painful and require a half hour here and there of not using it.
Pros:
- Great sound
- appears durable
Cons:
- Incredibly short cord, don't expect this to work on your computer unless you have a front sound jack
- After an hour or two this will start cutting into your ears, so it's not the most comfortable
