Cruel camera with good image. Having used both for downhill skiing and diving (18 m). Completely hassle. The battery lasts a few hours of skiing. With the camera in the accompanying house sound disappears almost completely. Super good ...

Water proof case cannot have holes!
In response to the comment of the case not having holes for the mic., well, it wouldn't be waterproof if the case that allows the camera to be waterproof had holes...don't you think

sony hdr-as50 action camera with 60 m waterproof housing
i bought this for my son for our holidays ,i like it very much i made a good choice its better than mine ,really pleased with it i am sure my son will like it .

Suprisingly good
I did get this second hand, but it still makes good movies and acceptable quality still images. I'd consider upgrading to get 4k, but the HD 1080p video it takes is still ok quality. Have not tried the waterproof abilities, but the case is surprisingly heavy duty.

amazing cheap camera
I bought this about a month ago and have used it ever since for holiday videos and vlogs.
