When you're talking mirrorless and everything's on the sensor, there shouldn't be back or front-focus issues, all on the sensor. But I could manually adjust or auto adjust to the center of a camera target and the focus point would be forward of that, with center a bit defocused.

Truly a professional lens
I put this lens on a Sony a6000 body and tested it against my favourite f1.4 Sigma wide prime. The 24-105mm just outmatched the good Sigma glass in every way. This monster metal beast fetched details in the shadows and highlights, and even picked up the faint blue tones in pine needles.

Expensive but worth it
Purchased as I wanted to buy manufacturers own lens as opposed to a third party lens. Quite heavy and bulky but no more so than other manufacturers lenses of this type. A well built lens with excellent sharpness throughout the zoom range even at full aperture. Colours are also very good.

Brilliant
Switched recently from Nikon to Sony mirrorless. This lens provides tack sharp images and excellent bokeh. My go to lens for landscapes and some portraits. Perfect with my A7III

The best lens, period!
As professional wedding photographers we are always looking for the the best optics for our cameras and this is by far the best lens, within this price range, that you will ever find. It is SHARP, it has a great color rendition, an amazing autofocus, it's super versatile, light, oh, did I say SHARP

Of course this lens has also some flaws but they happen in predictable categories. If I had to pick on something I would complain about price. The Sony is offered on the Polish market for 4000-4200 PLN and it's really a lot.
Pros:
- good image quality in the frame centre,, sensible image quality on the edge of the APS-C sensor,, good correction of longitudinal chromatic aberration,, moderate lateral chromatic aberration,, lack of problems with spherical aberration,, negligible vignetting on the APS-C/DX sensor,, decent coma...
Cons:
- image quality on the edge of full frame could have been better,, high distortion on RAW files,, noticeable vignetting on full frame.
