Excellent lens for the price

Great All round lense
Great standard zoom lense, will likely live on camera displacing the kit lense. Far more flexible than 16-50 for candid portraits and general photography

Lovely focal length range for a standard len
First use of the lens today. Seems sharp at most focal lengths using aperture of f9. Only downside is slight lag in auto focus when compared with my Zeiss 16-70 which has been my normal standard lens. The extra focal length however more than comoensates for the slight focus lag.

Sony E 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS SEL18135
The 18135SEL exceeded my expectations, although I hoped for the best based on this website's intial review. IQ is really quite good across the board - rare for such a long range zoom.
Pros:
- Excellent IQ wide open in centers and edges - corners sharpen a couple stops down OSS is a big help with a6000/a6300 bodies AF is quick and accurate Compact
- light and easy to operate
Cons:
- Slow optically Minimal bokeh potential

Very sharp
I have only had this lens for a few hours, and have only tried it in the half-light of evening, but, I must say that I am, so far, very impressed. I must say that I am not particularly overwhelmed with the additional zoom capability over the kit 16-55mm.

Best Walk-around lens for Sony
I sold a Sony G-lens 18-105 to get this 18-135, and i couldn't be happier. Some folks will think that's crazy, because the 18-105 G is supposed to be so great, but honestly, this lens totally outshines that one for a lot of reasons.

Great 'one size fits all lens'
This is a great one-size fits all lens for Sony alpha-series cameras. Previously I found myself frequently swapping between my camera's kit lens and a 55-210mm lens. Time consuming and a bit of a hassle - especially if having to carry extra kit when out and about.

Great lens
I got this lens a few weeks ago to use with my Sony a6400. So far, I am totally happy with the performance of this lens. I am getting nice sharp captures and the lens is light weight and compact which is very nice. The zoom range works perfectly for me as an every day lens. It was a good purchase.

Best walk around lens for A6x00 series
I had tried both Sony 18-105 and 18-135. The 18-105 is a "G" lens and suppose to be better than the 135. The problem is 105 is way heavier and cause the camera+lens combo to be front heavy. It wasn't much fun for me to take pictures with it.

I'd buy it again
I love my new sony lense. It is a perfect fit on my Sony a6000. Photos are crisp with excellent colors. I chatted via internet with a tech from Crutchfield who answered the many questions I had about the lense. I have never bought a used lense before, but this one exceeds my expectations.
