I almost did not buy this low-cost DVD Camcorder, but I decided to investigate some reported complaints. First off, the image stabilizer works, better in stills and okay in video. It requires a steady video shot, but no camcorder is up for jolts. It works fine in a moving four-wheeler.

bought this unit to use for dog training. easy to use didn't need manual has touch screen easy to change from movie to pic's. after using this unit my other one that uses tapes will stay in it case. yes would buy this unit again

The 'other half' and I have had this incredible Sony camcorder now for about 6 months, and already have made about 40 'mini DVDs' of our now 2 year old. The 40x zoom feature and picture quality is excellent, and the camera does fairly well in low-light, much to our surprise.

This is an easy to use little camera with a great zoom. The color and definition is far better than I thought, in well lit areas. In lower lighting the color is flat, the picture is darker than the surroundings and not real clear. For outside, daytime, or well lit rooms, it is perfect.
