90% of a dslr
Haven't had a point and shoot for a good 5 years at least. I've had a Nikon d90 since its release and day to day pictures have been shot with our iPhones. The problem with iPhones is the small sensor, lack of zoom and not very good light sensitivity.

Excelent Product
Great product. Full of resources in a pocket size. Very good image quality.

Review: Sony Cyber-shot RX100
Saying you've found "the best point-and-shoot camera" is like saying you've got "the best kind of toe fungus." It's something hardly anybody wants. We're all carrying around perfectly capable cameras on our smartphones, so if you're going to recommend adding the bulk and expense of a compact camera...
Pros:
- Truly amazing sensor packed into camera that fits in your pocket
- Beautiful Zeiss lens opens up to f/1.8
- Fast and accurate autofocus
- ISO range from 125 to 6400, and an Auto ISO mode that never misses
- The best manual control ring I've used on a point-and-shoot
- Big LCD.
Cons:
- No matter how you look at it, 0 is a lot of cheese
- No viewfinder
- Pre-programmed scenes lack intelligence
- Video export isn't as smooth or easy as it is on other cameras

Best camera I've ever bought, and I'm a professional photographer with quite a few SLR's. It's expensive, but I've never regretted buying it. I've taken some stupidly good photos with this camera!

My Go To Camera
Best camera i have owned. I have had the likes of Canon G10, Pentax SLR and many others. This camera is the go to for me. Amazing picture quality and everything you will ever need to capture a still or moving object. Amazing features. Great value.

Pros:
- The RX100 is genuinely pocketable
- It stays in my day bag all the time, except when I put it in the pocket of my trousers, The image quality is excellent, at least as good as my Nikon D300.
Cons:
- I do not like LCD viewfinders
- I accept them only as the price to pay to make a camera so small
- The RX100 has the usual problems, 1
- The image is too small to see what you are doing
- If I'm taking a group, I can't judge the best moment to do the picture because I can't see their expressions, 2.

Glad I bought it.
Fantastic camera. A little overwhelming with all the settings at first and frustrating that all the programs and instruction manuals have to be downloaded. What's wrong with putting a CD in the box Sony.
