Good solid camera
Very good camera. I would give it a 5 star rating except for layout for top controls. I'm rough on cameras and pull out the camera to shoot quick pics of a view or a breadcumb path trace. So the settings knob gets bumped a lot and I find that I'm often shooting off an odd setting.

good things come in small packages
I take this with me everywhere for its handy compact size. Picture quality is excellent and speed is great. Only thing it lacks is a view finder and more optical zoom.

...you will get a lot out of this little guy
Working in cameras on a daily basis I have the luxury of trying out a number of cameras from pro DSLR to compacts. Within the 1 inch sensor compact cameras the Sony RX100 V is one of the best compact premium camera you could buy with standout features and performance to boot.

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-RX100
We don't know why Sony took so long to make a pocket camera complete with a great sensor and an even greater lens. But we're glad they took this decision. Such a product was sorely needed. The superb pros of the previous model, the S100, are kept on the new Cyber-shot DSC-RX100. And we love that.

Very nice camera! Excellent build quality and performance!
Bought this for my wife based on professional photographer recommendation for "professional quality point and shoot." I usually shoot with a Canon Digital Rebel, but my wife wanted to have something that was easier for her to use and yet could still do some cool more professional stuff and have...

Great camera, and service
The RX100 lives up to the hype in many of the reviews you may read online. It is a significant improvement over the current crop of smartphone cameras (2018). The low light performance if excellent, and allows you to enjoy the moment, rather than focus (pardon the pun) on getting good shots.

This is a good camera able to get quality photos while being relatively lightweight. However within 12 hours of being in the first humid climate I'd taken it to (Hong Kong) it suddenly broke leaving me an expensive paperweight. I wouldn't recommend this for any travellers.
