I thought Sony fixed the overheating problem from 2 years ago. OMG, 10 minutes of VLOGinf and shut down. Not good!
Tiny, tough, and a super-performer to go with it. The Sony Cybershot RX0 II is the camera you're looking for if you want great results without having to carry a great weight. It's a portable powerhouse!
The RXO II might be small but it's one tough camera. It's ideal for action shots as its robust construction can handle the extremes you put it through. It's not afraid to get wet, operating down to 10 metres in fresh water or seawater, while you can also shoot in drier conditions where sand and dust is all around you...all without needing a special waterproof case or additional accessories.
All this toughness in a tiny body tends to overshadow the camera's photographic ability...but it really shouldn't! Cutting-edge imaging technology, delivers beautiful images in any situation.
The 1.0-type Exmor RS CMOS sensor combined with the advanced BIONZ X image-processing engine provides a wide dynamic range, reduced noise, natural-looking details and rich tonal gradations. The wide-angle ZEISS Tessar T 24mm3 F4 lens chimes in to deliver images that are superb in every respect.
The Soft Skin Effect show off the softer side of this tough camera. When taking portrait shots and selfies, this mode reduces small facial wrinkles and skin dullness while preserving the clarity of the subject's eyes and mouth.
The tiny RX0 II still lets you take great big cinematic footage in all its 4K glory. You can record 4K movies with full pixel readout and no pixel binning, resulting in ultra-clear images and thrilling action scenes.

Pop quiz, hot shot. What looks like an action cam, is tough like an action cam, but isn't actually an action cam I don't know either, but that's kind of the best way to describe the Sony RX0 Mark II.
Flip-up screen makes framing a vlog easier; Good image quality with ability to separate subject from background; Surprisingly good audio quality; Very rugged design
Lack of continuous autofocus makes it hard to shoot quickly; Field of view not nearly as wide as a GoPro; Much more expensive than other action cameras
This would be the first smallest camera with a full frame sensor and full frame exmor R sensor and with an aperture at 1.2 and with continuous autofocus and a solid study shot for videos and photos and face defection all in a small and tiny compact design.
The Sony RX0 II is one of the strangest cameras that, on the surface, looks completely conventional. Your first reaction, like mine, will likely be "that's a Sony GoPro, right" This isn't really the case.
Very good video quality when stable; Handy flip-out screen
Fiddly controls; No OIS; Poor software stabilisation; High price
The RX0 II is unusual and impressive in some ways, but it doesn't offer a compelling all-round package for most people. If you want an action camera, then the GoPro Hero7 Black or DJI Osmo Action are better bets. And if you're looking for a tiny vlogging camera, then the DJI Osmo Pocket or a Sony RX100 V are ideal. The RX0 II's electronic image stabilisation isn't great, which means it only really excels on a tripod. If this is the main way you like to shoot, and you're prepared to put up with its foibles, then the RX0 II could be a handy addition to your filmmaking arsenal. But vloggers and travellers should look at its cheaper rivals.

As its name suggests, the Sony RX0 II is the second version of the original RX0 action camera that was first released back in 2017. The updated Mark II RX0 principally adds internal 4K video recording with full pixel readout and no pixel binning, in-body electronic stabilisation when shooting video,...
Finally, a small camera that shoots Cinema quality and RAW still for timelapses. I use a Back-Bone MFT mount kit to be able to use lenses as well. Love this. Have two now and will probably buy a couple more. #goprokiller
