BDP-S6700 FAILED in only three months!

I am/was a big fan of SONY products and own multiple TV's, the wife's laptop, disc players BDP-S6700, BDP-S3500 and (2) BDP-S5200, etc. I have never had an issue where I needed service so having a failed device and a failed service policy has soured my opinion of SONY.

The BDP-S6700 by Sony has an impressive set of features, a slick design and a fair price. Most importantly, it has strong picture quality and lets you watch 3D discs or stream video from hundreds of services. The player upscales DVD and Blu-ray discs and plays them in a higher-resolution format.

This player has more downloadable apps than others

It doesn't support Ultra-HD discs
