Good set of headphones but, not increidble.

I had been looking at the over the ear Bose and Beats headphones for a long time but, they are frankly, cost prohibitive for a pair of headphones. I tried out these Skullcandy headphones just by chance and I was very impressed with the bass response. Especially for the low price point.

Affordable; Good Bass response

Cheap plastic construction; not great trebble response

Skullcandy Crusher Wireless Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphone with Mic - Black

The new Crusher wireless from Skullcandy is a great improvement on the old Skullcrushers. The most noticeable improvement is NO EXTERNAL BATTERIES which is very important because a person can spend hundreds of dollars in AA batteries in a years worth span for the old Skullcrushers.

Has improved from the last version (SkullCrushers) Clearer sound quality; Low latency Bluetooth; Memory foam padding; Optimized low power bass drivers

May get warm and uncomfortable if worn too long because of memory foam padding; small ear cups

Headphone Review: Skullcandy Crusher Wireless

My first impression from the Crusher 1.0 was thinking how gimmicky, but how oddly convincing the need for such an obscene amount of bass in my life actually is. I distinctly remember struggling to listen with the subwoofer on for more than one song, it seems Skullcandy have taken this on board and...

Skullcandy Crusher Wireless review: The bass just dropped!

If you don't like ‘bass', we suggest you go look for other headphones. Because that is what Skullcandy's latest Crusher Wireless does - it actually shakes you up. We meant it in the sense that the bass was inexplicable and sounded akin to the heavy bass you hear in clubs and subwoofers.

Solid build great for the gym

I just got these so we will see how they hold up. I got them for the gym and they actually sit tight enough so they doing fall off after doing a set on the bench. The bass is great and I like the easy to find volume and separate bass volume slider.

Skullcandy Crusher Wireless over-ear headphones review

A few years ago, Skullcandy launched the Skullcandy Crusher headphones, which were wired headphones that made use of AA batteries to deliver a super pumped-up bass response. Now, the company is back with another attempt - this time doing away with the AA batteries and the wire in favor of a...

Skullcandy Crusher Review

The Skullcandy Crusher headphones offer adjustable bass you can feel. Literally. But are they worth it for non-bassheads?

Massive bass; Adjustable level of bass; Interesting gimmick

Not many features; Won't appeal to everyone

Skullcandy Crusher

As deep bass becomes increasingly easier to produce in relatively affordable headphones , companies are adding new tricks to the equation to win your interest. Beyerdynamic and Skullcandy both recently released headphones with adjustable bass sliders-but Skullcandy's Crusher, at $99.95 (direct), is...

Powerful audio output, with slider to adjust bass response; Works in passive mode, without a battery; Inline remote control and microphone for mobile devices

Bass boost goes to ridiculously high levels; AA battery required for the bass slider to work

Skullcandy Crusher review

At $99 (£89.99, AU$115), the Skullcandy Crusher headphones are all about that bass. With bass drivers so strong they actually vibrate, the Crusher lathers a fun (but divisive), thick, gooey coat of bass to every track that's pushed through its cans.

Skullcandy Crusher Headphones Review

Skullcandy brings the boom with its $99.99 Crusher headphones. Outfitted with the company's Sensation55 driver technology, which causes the cans to literally vibrate, it feels like you're walking around with a large subwoofer on your head.

Durable fame; Affordable; Adjustable vibration effect deepens bass

Frame looks a bit cheap; Bass effect can distort music at high volume
