Skullcandy Crusher ANC Review
Skullcandy made a name for itself with cool, stylish, bass-forward headphones that all have one thing in common: a relatively affordable price. So it's safe to say we are intrigued by the Crush ANC, a $319.99 pair of noise-cancelling Bluetooth headphones priced only slightly lower than the $399.95 industry-leading Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700. Skullcandy's headphones feature adjustable bass response with haptic vibrations, which are undeniably cool, but the ANC simply isn't on the same level as other models in this price range.
Design
Available in black or dark red models, the circumaural (over-ear) headphones feature an eggshell-like finish and extensive memory foam cushioning in the earpads and the underside of the headband. Other than a small Skullcandy skull logo on either side of the headband, the design flourishes are kept to a minimum—most of the language printed on the outer panels can only be seen from up close, and at an angle, it seems to disappear.
