I bought this lens back in September 2013 and it was great until this month when the auto-focus went. When I Googled the lens I found out that the lens has a history of auto-focus problems, when you start typing Sigma 15...

This lens is by far better than expected. Ive read reviews where they said it was soft on the edges wide open. I havent found this to be true. This lens is built like a tank. I know its not a Nikon lens but I think its just as good.

f/6,3 at 500mm is limiting; Vignetting might be a problem in some photos

I purchased this lens to go with my Nikon D5300 and it works perfectly with it. I took some photos of aircraft and the results are off the hook. Definitely one of the best decisions I have made in a very long time. I was initially concerned about the weight.

Bought this lens after considering many others, took some time to sort out the best settings and how to use it handheld.I was very pleased at the results.See some of my pics ive included.

A little cumbersome

this is an excellent lens you can leave your tripod at home the OS works very well. optics are also excellent focusing is very fast it seems to function similar to an f2.8 or f4.0 we were a little worried about buying a 3rd party lens but no more we have been using this lens for about 4 months now...

Not fully examined all the pictures taken with it, but on first viewing they look pretty good. Despite the weight (and a bad shoulder) I managed to shoot with it hand held when there was plenty of light

This is a great lens for Sport, Wildlife and even some portrait photography. The lens can get a little heavy after a while and a tripod is recommended. I love the feel and and the close up shoots I can get without intruding in my subjects face.

Jag rekommenderar objektivet till alla som är ute efter ett prisvärt långt objektiv. Det går att handhålla vid bra ljusförhållanden och det hänger med att fota flygande fåglar med. Objektivets svagheter kommer inte som någon överraskning och det dras inte med några onödiga designfel.

Sigma 150-500 mm ger en fantastisk räckvidd till den digitala systemkameran och fungerar bra att fotografera vilda djur och fåglar till en av marknadens lägsta kostnader; Man ska komma ihåg att det här är ett stort objektiv som väger över 1,5 kg och det kräver lite annorlunda arbetssätt en kortare...

Det här ett av de billigaste långa objektiven på marknaden och naturligtvis har man kompromissat i konstruktionen; Ytfinishen är mer rå en sofistikerad, bildstabiliseringen oväsnas överraskande mycket och drar en hel del ström och objektivet är ljussvagt och kantskärpan är inte den bästa vid full...

I take pictures for a baseball team. The lens takes good pictures and brings the subject close to you. Also with the 150mm you can still get close action shots without switching the lens.
