I bought this lens for a STEAL of a price through Amazon's Warehouse Deals. I've never bought anything used from them before, so I was a bit skeptical and I was worried that the condition of the lens might be bad. Was I wrong! This lens only cost me a fraction of a new lens...

Clear focus (don't use auto ever) wide angle shots good value for the money.

Fisheye lenses aren't like ordinary wide-angles. For a start, their angle of view is wider (a full 180 degrees on a Nikon DSLR) and second they don't attempt to correct straight lines, rendering them instead as curves. These two factors produce distinctive and highly odd renditions of the world.

I bought this lens specifically for its Fish-Eye barrel effects for video. Amazing wide-angle for Canon 7D or any other 1.6x crop sensor; Bought this for video work with my 7D and have used it many times, either for the fun fish-eye effect, or to show a 180 degree panorama.

Not sharp at the f/2.8 range in comparison to other Canon or Tokina lenses; Stopped up to the 4 range and you'll see a big difference but lose a lot of the low light capability that makes this lens appealing.

This was a gift for my son's 25th birthday, he is a skater, surfer, snowboarder, He love's this lens. I is great for the Skate Barn photo's. I would recommend it!

Easily Interchangeable; Fast / accurate auto-focus; Lightweight

The Hyper-Sonic Motor (HSM) not only makes the autofocus practically silent but it also means that Nikon D-SLRs without built-in motors can still use autofocus mode.

It's a great for landscape and any static objects, but my primary use is for action sports and sadly the AF is just not quick enough for it. When used for video the quality is great !

Blurry Focus

Excellent lens, the macro effects are outstanding, this is what I was looking for in a micro lens. I prefer to use MF on macro photography as it gives me more control of the background.
