Shure SE846

Last week, Shure invited me to audition 2 of their premium earphones, the SE846 and the KSE1200, at the Stereo The Headphone Concept Store Westgate outlet. While this was a special invite, anyone can walk into the Stereo Store, sit down and test any audio…

Great in ears

Greta product and the sound stage is really excellent you can ear every piece of the music, but are they worth the price tag For me unless you are using a top quality player or a DAC to get the best out of these, if you have not got the set up you can get great sounding in ears for a quarter or the...

Spectacular Sound!

Utterly enjoyable! They were a quantum leap better than any IEM ( inner ear monitor) or headphone, I had ever heard. Pristine clarity and resolution combined with very satisfying and tight bass. Distortion is not even on the distant horizon!

Clarity; absence of any noticeable distortion; full range excellent sound; from the lowest of lows to the highest of highs.Allow the use of high quality DAC/ amplifiers that can really be a dramatic upgrade ( not so obvious in cheap headphones

They work so much better with the custom sleeves! However, there is an extra cost; Also, the sleeves create bulk; However, the enjoyment they provide is well worth it

Shure SE846

Warm and rich-sounding earphones for high-end headphone fans after a less analytical sound.

Excellent bass; Great mid-range texture and detail; Removable cable

Conservative treble

Full Shell Sleeves

For the customers that bought these earbuds I truly recommend them to buy -and I know is an extra expense- the Full Shell Sleeves from Sensaphonics. (Google It) On top of the expense of the Full Shell Sleeves (150 USD) you will have to spend also a visit to an audiologist for the impressions of your...

Shure SE846 Sound Isolating Earphones

I have been a Shure fan for decades but was a little (all right a lot) hesitant to spend so much on earbuds. As a performing musician I've had many pairs of Shure as well as other brands but when I lost my SE 535s I decided to take the plunge as Shure has been so good to me over the years.

Shure SE846 Sound Isolating? Earphone

The cheap comes out expensive.... by that I mean that I always wanted these but was not willing to spend the money. Instead I bought Klipsh S4 100$, not happy! Sennheiser MM550x 550$, not happy!, Audio-Technica M50x 300$, not happy!, Phiaton MS 530 250$, not happy!

Sound; design; comfort; portability

Well of course they are expensive but you get what you pay for
