Musical and accurate performance; Solid build; 2 year warranty
Not especially attractive; No inline controls; SoundMagic E10 slightly cheaper
The Shure SE112 earbuds are a nice buy if you're looking for a good sounding, barebones pair of earbuds, but they're short on features.
Great sound for the price; Included cleaning tool is a nice touch
You may have issues finding a good fit; Not the most comfortable earbuds we've tried
Pound for pound, Shure's SE112 are some of the best budget buds on the market.
Clear; open soundstage; Respectable level of detail; Solid construction; Great passive noise isolation; Extremely affordable
Upper register occasionally too snappy; No microphone or control piece
With big, balanced sound, decent isolation, and distortion-free audio, Shure's SE112 (MSRP $49) in-ear headphones make a convincing case for themselves. The quality parts and extra sleeve sizes make the deal even more attractive. Alternatives are never far.
The SE 112m+ is Shure's entry level in ear headphone. Shure has been making great in-ears for a long time. Although it's priced at $105, its can compete with in ears above this price point from other manufacturers.
Great Isolation; Good depth and Dynamics
Ear pads that come with the headphones are not so comfortable to wear
I use the the earphones whilst riding my motorcycle as earplugs and entertainment. Fits well in the ear, different size buds supplied, and gives excellent dampening to external sounds. The box it came in was rather oversized.
I like the sound quality. Not as good as others but, good for the price. They do pull on my ears. Adding some sort of shirt clip would be nice.
The Shure SE112 Sound Isolating Earphones provide good sound quality and secure ear inserts for an affordable price, but they're a hassle to put on. When I have my earbuds in, I expect to hear nothing but my music.
Good sound quality; Secure ear inserts that block out nearly all noise; Cord doesn't tangle often
Uncomfortable over-ear fit; Bass could be stronger
The top end is a bit plastic and cheap sounding, the bottom end a bit weak and cheap sounding, but the mid range is strong and clear, perfect for guitar players, and that's what I purchased them for! They fit nice and tight cutting out a significant amount of ambient noise.
