" passe-partout" - marc la terreur
I have this mic since the beginning of my career and it fits anywhere snare, vocals, xylophone, guitar, cymbal (close miking), bass amp, flute, _____________ <------ instrument of your choice . that versatility is his forte what!

A worthwhile option.
It's a nice alternative to the SM-57 on snare. So far, I prefer it. I haven't used it on anything else. But it is the next step in my quest to transcend the SM-57 on snare, which is an unexpectedly difficult endeavor.

Seems much more robust than a 'standard' SM57 and useful for vocals too, giving another option instead of always going to an SM58/Beta 58 while still offering performers that safe, familiar, feeling of using a Shure microphone.
