THESE HEADPHONES AND BASE UNIT ARE COMFORTABLE AND WELL DESIGNED, ALSO EASY TO USE. THEIR SOUND QUALITY DOES NOT DISAPPOINT EITHER.
The Sennheiser RS 170 Headphones, feature a completely wireless system to bring you extremely portable high quality headphones, don't let the wireless fool you though, the Sennheiser RS 170 Headphones still deliver the highest possible quality by utilising Kleer's uncompressed digital wireless audio...
Crisp and clear audio; Good build quality; Wireless – Travel up to 80 metres from transmitter; Bass boost / surround sound buttons
Slow charging; Relatively expensive
Very good sounding headphones. 3D logic is very balanced, not overpowering or sounding artificial. Bass boost has a very good balance without sounding boomy. There is absolutely no hiss during quiet passages, during music or movies. RS 170 is great for watching TV or movies.
The sound quality provided by the Sennheiser RS 170s makes them one of the best sets of wireless headphones we've ever used.
I'm using these to listen to our TV; they are connected to the headphone out. I bought them to replace my failed Sony MDR-RF4000K, but I'm not too sure if it was worth it. Compared to Sony, I can't really say there is *any* improvement, maybe only when playing GT5 - Sony had a very weird problem...
Sound fairly decent
Cut out when input volume is low; cups are too shallow for my ears, manual switch on
You won't be carrying Sennheiser's RS 170 headphones around with you when you're travelling, but they're an excellent choice when you want to sit at home and wallow in your favourite tunes.
Excellent audio quality; long-range wireless transmitter
Expensive; bulky Kleer transmitter

Great sound quality but the buttons on the headset are very difficult (virtually impossible) to use. In addition, the buttons on the control button can't be pressed with one hand - must use one hand to hold the base while the other presses the button.
Terrible ergonomics
These are the finest headphones I have ever used including 'wired'Only slight negative is the very small buttons for volume etc but am getting used to using them.
