There may be years of your life where there's no need for a set of full-sized wireless headphones, but there are other times when a good pair is the wisest investment in audio that you could make.
Pros:
- Lossless wireless tech
- Good build quality
- Strong bass response
Cons:
- Boxy mid-range
- Wireless comes with price premium

3rd Party Vendor Sarjo might not replace your defective product (or even answer your requests)
I cannot accurately rate the product, since it was defective from the start. I have purchased items from Amazon for years now. They are usually quick to resolve any issues. Unluckily for me, I bought these headphones from one of their third party vendors.

Excellent Product
Used in the bedroom so I can watch TV without sound bothering my wife when she is sleeping. Works perfectly in that regard.

Follow up.
The solution to the wireless issue for me was to play around with the channel that my router was using to broadcast. I think I have it set to 1 now instead of auto. This has resulted in no issues as the headphones and the wireless network are not on the same frequency anymore.
Pros:
- Still wireless and have pretty good sound
- Surround is nice as is the extra bass
- Lightweight and easy to use
- You do not hear much outside noise
Cons:
- My previous review was with the headphones at work
- This one is for home
- Shorter range than stated
- Interference with other wireless products - specifically with wireless usb cards for computers.

Wow!
Just purchased these wireless headphones for use with TV, not ham radio. They replace Radio Shack wireless headphones which stopped working and fell apart. (And were VERY uncomfortable). The RS-170 is a QUALITY product and works as advertised.

I LOVE THESE! Crystal clear wonderful sound. Reception distance from the xmitter depends on the number of obstacles, walls, etc., between the headphones and the xmitter. Line-of-sight distance (80m, 260 ft)is farther than any other wireless headphone I have researched.
