I have used many NC headphones before (Bose QC, AKG, AT), but these are the most comfortable, best sounding ones yet. A bit big, but it works perfect for my ears.

These Sennheisers have been our Award-winning cans for two years on the bounce, but they've now been beaten by the Bose QuietComfort 15 s, which sound better and are more adept at noise-cancelling. But the PXC-450s remain a great buy.
Sound far better than most rivals; snug; comfortable fit; effective
Not cheap
I bought a set of these used. What a great deal! The Audio quality is so good I began using them on my stero system to listen to analog recordings. I replace a set of Beyr Dynamic headphones. These are more comfortable. If you need the noise canceling capability, it also work superb.
After the first few hours, these Sennheisers more than justify the high price. Excellent!
Awesome noise-cancelling technology; Usual superb Sennheiser sonic performance
Expensive; Low-end grunt is slightly lacking
These were unavailable from NCIX when I ordered them, so I actually got them from another source, but thought I'd write a quick review anyway. I buy Sennheiser headphones exclusively because I've never been let down by their sound and build quality. These headphones were worth every penny.
- sound quality; - noise cancelling; - comfortable for long periods of time; - don't have to listen to screaming neighbour kids anymore; - sennheiser
- nothing
I sought to find a suitable upgrade/replacement for my Bose QC2s. After a ton of research I came across these. Most reviewers state that the construction, noise canceling and sound quality beat the Bose older and current Bose models hands down. Having tried first hand I absolutely agree!
Very high fidelity - Noise canceling is exceptional (beats Bose without question!!!) - Sturdy construction/finish
- Carrying case fits the headphones perfectly, but there isn't room for anything else; - Noise canceling works so well that it seems to muffle audio output
I don't have much experience with noise canceling headphones, but after quite a bit of research I settled on these (it came down to Bose and Sennheiser). For a casual listener, these are amazing headphones.
Comfortable; Great Sound
I purchased these to replace an old pair of Sennheiser NR phones I've had for about 15 years. While I liked my old ones these are far better both in design and operation. The battery is internal, the ear cups swivel 90 degrees for storage, they come with a case (a very nice case) and the cord is...
You will not be disappointed. Great quality, comfortable and nice long cord. Worth the money.
Good quality authentic sound headphones with reasonable noise cancelling, but buy rechargeable batteries and a charger.
When everything else is going right, they have great clarity of sound; Pretty good at noise cancelling without distorting the sound; Clear authentic sound is what I was looking for so they are quite good for what I needed
Very battery dependent and they go through batteries very quickly and won't work if the battery is a little low either; I'm having trouble with volume too which I believe is an impedance issue, so be sure to match your equipment
