Sennheiser Momentum Wireless Over Ear, Jays U-JAYS, Brainwavz Omega IEM, Corsair VOID RGB SE and Brainwavz HM2: Here are the best headphones of 2016.
Sennheiser's Momentum range of street-savvy headphones has been around for five years now. Past models in the series, such as the Momentum M2 IEi wired earphones and the Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear Wireless earphones, have had stunning designs but have disappointed us on the audio quality front.
Feather-light; Superb clarity and detail; Impressive soundstage; Tight; controlled bass
Disappointing battery life; Shrill highs; No aptX-HD support; Average microphone
The Sennheiser Momentum Free would have made a lot more sense had it been truly wireless; even apart from that, it underwhelms in terms of performance, and even though it is fairly reliable, it is hard to recommend at a price of Rs. 14,990.
Well built; Light; easy for prolonged usage; Sweet; warm audio
Max volume is way too low; Timbre is too demure; Lacks fine details; Takes way too long to charge; Not as momentous as other Momentum siblings
While $300 is a lot to spend, you get a lot for it. Among true wireless earbuds, it's tough to top the sound quality, controls, and fit of the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless.
Great sound quality; Solid connection
Price; No foam tips; Isolation
What I liked: the Sennheiser sound does not disappoint; portability is alright (size wise); (pseudo-)multipoint functionality; decent (not good) battery life; good single-point connection distance
I am on 3rd month using them and I am already feeling sorry for this purchase, as they are starting to fail in functionality; From the beginning I had problems with them falling out of the ears, no matter which of the bundled silicon buds I would use.
They're sleek and they sound great, though the high asking-price is a harsh caveat.
Striking design; Solid audio quality and connectivity
Expensive
This is my honest review of almost a year's usage. So I bought this set around November of 2016. Great sound, loved the feel. The cord had a very nice extra length to it. Sadly within the first 3 months of usage, which has been average, non-abusive usage, the earbuds began to regularly fall off of...
I walked into this review hoping to be disappointed. Ever since I first reviewed them four years ago, the over-ear Sennheiser Momentum Wireless has been the model to beat in terms of supreme sound quality in the world of Bluetooth headphones.
Peerless sound quality
Kinda big; finicky controls
Exceptional sound wrapped in a series of small annoyances
The best; purest sound of any true wireless buds yet; Durable earbud design and case; Comfortable; Good microphone performance
Wildly unintuitive touch controls; Flaky wireless; Need to have the case with you at all times; Twice the price and size of AirPods
Great sound for ear buds. Comfortable in my ear and they fit well. Color is nice and the cable seems sturdy. However not ideal buds for when your moving around a lot and walking around often. You can hear the thud noise from the movement of the buds in your ears bouncing around with every step.
