The Sennheiser MD441 is one of my favorite microphones. They have plenty of EQ settings, and can be counted on for a good, useable track wherever they get used. I have lots of top-end dynamic mics, (Beyerdynamic M88, M700, M201, M160, M380, Sennheiser MD421, MD409, MD431, etc.

I originally used an IC-50 mic on my IC-7700 and found it to be good in terms of response and the workmanship was good, but I didn't like the goose neck design and the sensitivity of the mic was not satisfactory for my radio room.

Worth every penny! Great mic that works in a variety of situations. Has a brightness switch and 5 different low cut points make this a versatile mic that can be used in a lot of situations and give you the option of many sounds.
