Expensive, yet not good

These are bazaar. I have an older set of Sennheiser buds with the loop that wraps around the back of the neck which have excellent sound, so I was looking forward to a lighter, even better performing earbud set. These were terrible.

Able to return them easily through the excellent service at Crutchfield; Makes every other earbud in existence seem good

Very poor performance.

Sennheiser iE60

The big brothers to these Sennheisers , the iE80s blew us away when we tested them – but at £270, they're rather pricey. These £140 iE60s are altogether more affordable and, while they lack the customisable bass response of their peers, don't scrimp when it comes to build quality or finish.

Energetic sound; full bass; good build quality; wide range of ear tips; good isolation

Low frequencies dominate a little too much; high frequencies can get brash

Sennheiser IE 60

Sennheiser is one of the most reliable makers of headphones and earphones. However, it gets most love for its top-end and bottom-end models, the IE 80 and CX300 earphones. What about the bits in the middle?

Strong mid-range and bass; Good low-volume performance

Occasionally muddled sound; Non-removable cable

Almost Perfect

I really enjoy the soundstage, bass response and pretty much everything but and not impressed with the way that it sits in your ear as compared to other in-ear devices. I've compared the unit to a Westone 4 and the quailty of the music is far superior (at 1/2 the the price).

Good Bass; Great Sound; Lightweight

Falls Off/Out Of Ear; Uncomfortable

Well controlled bass; great vocals and detailed mids; impressive accessory set; comfortable and easy to wear

Highs are not the most detailed; not the best bang-for-your buck set with $249 price tag

As normal as other ear phone

I'm no expert at this but I can tell there was no difference in sound quality of the IE60. I owned an NVX earphone. When compared, there are both similar. Sound quality of the IE60 only provide clear sound but no other advantages ranging from bass to treble.

Pros

The sound is really warm considering it's a Sennhesier earphone. And is good for mostly pop music. It sounds terrible when first use, but after a couple hundred hours of burn in, it will start to sound amazing, trust me. Only downside is it is a bit trouble to put it on.

good sound for pop music

a bit hard to put on

Love Them!

I love these headphones. Great sound! At first, tricky to get in your ear correctly, but once you do, they really do work a treat.

Great IEM at this range

This is such a great IEM. I use the following devices as source, 1. Astell Kern AK Jr 2. iPhone 6 Plus 3. Macbook Pro Its sounds excellent with all the three. Pros: 1. Impressive sensitivity 2. Great carry case 3. Premium look (Some headphones at this range looks really cheap) Cons: 1.
