The Sennheiser IE 300 are stripped-back earphones with zero superfluous tech but excellent sound. They're tuned for impact and detail, however – something to consider for those who want a flat frequency response.

With the IE 300 model, Sennheiser launches a wired in-ear headphone in the around 300 euros price range, aimed at buyers who are looking for a compact solution for mobile use with superior sound quality.

The IE 200 and IE 300 are both great IEMs that are priced in a generous way. I wish there was a space for both of these IEMs to exist, but only the IE 200 is readily available, and it’s not a bad trade-off at all.

Of course, you can buy premium wireless earbuds. But the wired ones will make you happier.
