Good headphones but ...

These headphones are great. The only problems I have is the placing, and number buttons on the headphones. Their placement is awkward, and unnatural. They are close together and similar in feel. Everything works well, and I enjoy using the headphones, but ...

“Impressive features, style, and noise cancellation add up to a worthy option for budget shoppers.”

Sleek; understated style; Excellent battery life; Good build quality; Solid noise cancellation; Smooth; clean bass response

Sennheiser HD 450BT Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-Ear Headphones - White HD 450BT WHITE review

Sennheiser is one of the most recognizable names in audio. Even though the company's wireless products sometimes lack features found in competitors from Samsung or Sony, they usually offer best-in-class audio.

Sound The HD 450BT sounds great, though the bass is boosted by default; Software The EQ can be adjusted with an app, and aptX/aptX Low Latency support is a nice bonus; Price These can usually be found for $150 or less, which is a competitive price.

Design The button layout is a bit confusing; and the restrictive band might be uncomfortable for some.

When it comes to quality audio, Sennheiser is one of those names that just stands out in a crowd. It makes excellent headphones, soundbars, earbuds, and even pro audio that people have trusted for years. And, the company’s newest set of cans, the HD 450BT, is no exception.

Good sound quality; Very comfortable for on-ears; Excellent battery life

Wonky controls; Not the best noise canceling; No auto-power options

Sennheiser HD 450BT Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-Ear Headphones - White HD 450BT WHITE review

Although Sennheiser nailed the sound quality, it failed to create a comfortable headset with spacious ear cups for a wide array of listeners. These noise cancelling headphones do an okay job of reducing background noise, but don’t perform nearly as well as their big brother, the Sennheiser PXC...

Sound quality; Bluetooth 5.0; aptX Low Latency and AAC; Portable design; Fast charging (USB-C)

Microphone quality; Uncomfortable fit; Poor button layout

Sennheiser HD 450BT Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-Ear Headphones - White HD 450BT WHITE review

The HD 450BT aren't the flashiest pair of headphones, and if you went further up in price there are headphones with a better sense of fine detail, space and clarity. But if south of £200 is where your budget takes you, there’s not a whole lot to dislike about what the Sennheiser HD 450BT do here

Solid sound; Travel-friendly; Affordable; Long battery life

Compact soundstage; Noise cancelling is rather light; Uncomfortable for those with bigger ears

Sennheiser HD 450BT Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-Ear Headphones - White HD 450BT WHITE review

While not class-leading performers in the competitive mid-range market, these well-featured Sennheisers are still worthy of consideration

Smooth; easy-listening balance; Excellent battery life; aptX Low Latency Bluetooth

Busy button layout; Bass emphasis won’t suit all
