This cans are the 414 of closed headphones, and for live monitoring use. Little, well constructed, supra-aural, comfortable and durable. Punchy sound, almost linear with a little bump in the mid-bass. Mids are good but a little "honky". Good highs but a little grainy.

Sennheiser?HD 25

Heaven! The best sealed cans I've heard yet. For me, good isolation was needed. My rig is one of the loudest out there, I'm obsessed overclocker. Great thing about HD-25 is probable the isolation abilities.

- Excellent sound isolation while keeping comfort in mind; - Natural & well-balanced sound; - Cool light design (the cans arch split for 2 parts

- Pricy - Short cord (only 4.92 feet / 1.5 meter

"Great for DJ'ing and general use"

If your not afraid to prance around in these they are great for on the move. Completely shutting out sound with only half cups and really comfortable on the ears and light. They are really well built. I've had mine for 2 years now and quite honestly they still seem brand new.

Great sound- Bass and highs work very well; comfortable, loud

HD25-SP

Sennheiser HD25-SP has been on the market for a long time. The reason for that is: pure quality. This pair is perfect for DJs and those who want to feel those magical sounds of that tune you so adore. These headphones will isolate you from others and give you hours of loud but pure quality sound.

Sennheiser Amperior review Review

The Sennheiser Amperiors aren't the best headphones I've ever tested, and at £260 I wish the build quality felt a bit more robust. Still, these are comfortable cans that offer decent sound quality.

Good sound quality; Comfortable to wear; In-line remote

Build quality not too impressive; Low-end may not satisfy bass addicts; Expensive

Sennheiser Amperior

The look of these headphones makes them a dead ringer for the trusty HD 25 - the rounded cups, the cables that poke out of the top of them and the strange two-piece headband. If you're not keen on buying £260 cans that look just like ones you can snag for around £100, rest assured that there are a...

Superb bass slam; impact and separation; Excellent detail

Some rivals more comfortable

Sennheiser Amperior headphones review

The Sennheiser Amperior is far from the cheapest set over-ear cans on the market, but what you get for your money is superb audio quality and a very stylish set of headphones. Definitely worth considering if you want to get excellent audio performance from your iPad or iPhone.

Sennheiser Amperior headphones review

The Sennheiser Amperior headphones are inspired by DJ's and designed for the streets. How do we know this? Because the box they came in is covered with that slogan. However, it's a little unfair to pigeonhole these cans to hoodie wearing music enthusiasts.

Great audio performance; Stylish looks; robust design

Expensive; Slight discomfort after a hour's use
