FOR ALL THOSE WONDERING: HD201 VS. HD202

I have now been the owner of both the HD201s and HD202s. I tried to research as much as I could but I would never get a straight answer anywhere. Well I am going to change that. Plain and simple: the HD201s are greater than the HD202s.

I use a variety of headphones in my studio and I needed an extra pair for use with drums. These phones are lightweight and offer excellent sound quality for the money. That said, I was hoping for better sound isolation.

I`ve owned various sennheiser phones upto about £100. I thought I`d give these a go after the foam disintegrated on my current headphones. They cost me £15 and they sound like it. Compared to my previous £45 headphones they sounded dead.

good quality, great value, loud and clear, crisp bass

Very good quality, i use them at the moment for monitoring when im on the computer producing, and listening to my iPod. the noise cancelling is excellent, which great on a noisy bus, and they alos keep a lot of the sound from leaking out.

Legit

I use the product to listen to music and for laptop compatible uses... gaming, etc. The headphones provide a generally high quality, affordable alternative to the other Sennehiser models, but are a bit lacking in bass quality.
Pros:
  • Comfortable
  • Compact
  • Highly Compatible
  • Lightweight
  • Rich Sound
Cons:
  • Bass could be better

I also ordered these using the Pepsi Stuff promotion. They are a lot better sounding than I thought they would be. The long cord is a nice feature. Its been a long time since I owned a set of over the head headphones and I forgotten how comfortable they can be and how much outside noise they keep...
