I use a variety of headphones in my studio and I needed an extra pair for use with drums. These phones are lightweight and offer excellent sound quality for the money. That said, I was hoping for better sound isolation.

Two weeks ago my good old earphones stopped working and I started looking for a new pair on the Internet. After doing some more research I decided not to go for another pair of earphones but for headphones, as I would mainly use them at home.
A few months ago, Sennheiser set about spring cleaning its enormous range of headphones, and updated some of its collections at the same time. The HD 201s are some of the latest arrivals.
Light and comfortable to wear; Stylish deisn and good finish
Spectrum is uneven and treble takes over; Earpads quickly become warm
There aren't many manufacturers who make good gaming headsets but Sennheiser is coming up with some good options, breaking away from its more serious, only-for-audio-professionals image. The HD201 is an elegant looking headset with a closed circum-aural design.
Good build qulaity
- Weak bass
Now that German's Beyerdynamic has returned to studio-level audio equipment, it's let Sennheiser carpet the portables market with the kind of spread that Beyer boasted in the 1990s.
I got here to see what people are thinking about these headphones, and got surprised by the variety of responses. Some hate them, some think it's just OK, and some people love them.
Crystal clear sound; bang for the buck; comfort
Cheap materials; lack of strong bass
Broken easily, i rarely use them, 2 or three times a week for 3o minutes or so, they broken after 2 months. For that price, spend few more bucks and purchase something decent.
Lightweight
Feels cheap; not durable
I've had my 201s for years and they are one of the best purchases I have ever made. These things are quite durable as I have lugged them around on my travels. The only thing I don't like durability wise is that the logo on top has kind of faded but that isnt too bad of a thing.
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Good Bass; Good Value
Uncomfortable
I don't have much experience to compare these headphones with others, but on their own, they do seem to be pretty good. They are very comfortable and cup my ears nicely to seal in/out sound. The cord is rather long (and thin) and a 1/4-1/8 adapter is included.
