Amazing microphone for the price. No other mic suits my voice as well. Nice and warm sounding with plenty of detail. Less of a proximity effect than a SM57 though much more detailed and better sounding overall. More sensitive than a Rode M1 and not quite as flat sounding.

Sennheiser always is top of the line, so I had no doubts this would be fantastic. And of course it was. I used it while I DJ'd for a crowd of 700. Clear, crisp, and didn't fail once.

Works well on vocals. Having to get used to how close to the instruments in order to get the right recording volume. Looks good at this point. Have not used it yet on a performance. We'll put it to the big test then. It is easy to handle and looks very professional.

Dynamic vocal microphone (hyper) cardioid. is not nothing else, on pain of being disappointed. OVERALL OPINION

PRO: Affordable and powerful; comes from a reputable brand; very high quality

CON: Price may be out of reach for some musicians
