Better than an SM58

I've used SM58s my entire live sound career. They are still the standard just about anywhere I go. But, when I've had the opportunity to use this Sennheiser mic, I'm reminded how much I prefer it over the SM 58.

Sound quality; durability

Not popular enough

my new mic

Works well on vocals. Having to get used to how close to the instruments in order to get the right recording volume. Looks good at this point. Have not used it yet on a performance. We'll put it to the big test then. It is easy to handle and looks very professional.

It's exactly what I wanted!

I'm not looking for broadcast quality audio, but I want good, smooth clear audio on HF. For the past few years I've used a Heil Goldline, and while it's a definite improvement over the stock mic it still didn't have that clarity I wanted.

Sennheiser e835, one of the best dynamic mics for live performance around.

The Sennheiser E835 has been my go to Mic for as long as it has been on the market. When you buy a microphone what you are buying, and what should be your main concern is the frequency response.

"Great microphones."

I ordered three of these mic's after reading other customers reviews. I'm glad I purchased these mic's. I have had a better result on stage with the Sennheiser e835's than I was having out of my old mic's (brand name withheld), I am happy to be able to get the level of vocals and the clarity without...

Sennheiser e835, beats the Shure SM58 any day

The Sennheiser E835 is the same price and has much more versatility and smart design.

Great Sennheiser quality at really low price Wider frequencyrange than SHURESM58 Indestructible Sleak design

Bass feature can make bass little floppy says www.humanbeatbox.com; they hit low beats though

Convenient 3 pack

I tested the Audix OM2, the Shure SM58, and the Sennheiser e835 as all were in my price range. I loved the sound of this mic. It was rich, bright, and was not dry like the SM58. I ended up buying the Audix for my Karaoke Business (given the drunk nature of karaoke-ers!

Rich Warm Crisp Sound; Light.

Great Mic

I have been using this mic for about 5 months and, I own sm58's but, I have to say that I usually go to this mic for my performance. When we setup I get both mics out and, plug them both in to my mic cable and, the e835 wins.

excellent mics

These are really solid microphones at a great price, and if you ever do events with other groups its great to have these because most others have shure mics so you have no problem with what belongs to who.

Clear Sound

nice mic

Like it a bit better than my old Shure. Pick up from off center is better. Miss the switch capability but other reviewers have noted that the switch wasn't dependable over time.
