IN MY OPINION!! The bass on these completely blew me away. Pounding. Hard hitting without loosing much detail. By far the greatest aspect of these buds. The mids are not as forward as i would like. I find myself wanting more crunchy distortion from guitars on metal tracks.

Intense bass; build quality

Mids are a bit too resessed...

"475 times better than cheap earphones?"

I was pretty cross with myself the other day. or at least certainly was not amused. You see I went and lost my relatively expensive (to replace) QuadBeat LG G2 earphones, which came with the phone. Naturally I had to replace them as this is how I listen to my music, on an phone...

EXCELLENT sound; great cord length; warranty; German

Perfectly fine

I bought these to replace my old CX400II earphones. To be honest I have no idea what half these reviews are on about. I'm guessing these people either have their EQs wrong, haven't got them in properly or have the wrong size buds attached.

Great sound, good all round.

These earphones provide a clear sound and a distinct improvement on my previous earphones or on-ear headphones. I prefer the memory-foam in-ear pads on my previous JVC earphones but maybe I'll get get used to the silicone in-ear pads; unfortunately the memory-foam pads will not fit these earphones.

good sound

Poor sound quality

Not good is an understatement.these head phones are uncomfortable and sound awful. It take a lot to make the beatles sound bad...but somehow sennheiser have managed it.

Stylish; Compact; Durable; Great Sound; Good Value; Lightweight; Comfortable; Good Bass,

No Carry pouch !

Sales specs say in a couple different places that a "Carry Pouch" is included. This is not correct !NO POUCH !.... hence the 3 stars... will return with a review of sound quality after I have used them for a while

Disappointing sound. No bass at all. I have some other Sennheiser in ear headphones which were quite a lot more expensive but boy can you tell the difference!

Good but not worth $50

To take advantage of the bass in these you will likely need to play around with your media settings. For example in a droid phone I had to crank up the audio effect bass settings.

Good Base, especially for ear buds; Listening to pop, rock and classical guitar all sounds good

Definitely not MASSIVE base; Some minor 'fuzz' when the sound winds down/up that is more noticable than some other headphones I have had

Sennheiser CX 475 review

The in-ear headphone market is a bit of a minefield, and choosing your upgrade can be overwhelming. All told we'd recommend going for a pair of SoundMagics if you can – the E10s if you've got £35 to spend, the ES20s if £25 is your limit – but if you want a safe, simple and even cheaper choice to...

Solid sound; Seriously cheap; Comfortable fit

Could do with a little more weight behind each punch; Basic design
