Been needing and wanting to expand the storage, and this drive looked like a good size for the direct attached storage, and has been working very well so far.

I bought two 12TB drives. My first one lasted about 3 months and turned to RAW after shutting my machine down. The 2nd one did the same thing a few weeks later. The good thing is that Seagate has taken responsibility and are going to try to recover all my data. No sure of the outcome as yet as it can take up to 2 months.

bought for a Q-Nap system, the biggest and best for my needs.

What can i say, it does it's job. Using in a Asustor NAS with 4 of these drives, no issues so far, read and write as per spec.
