Bigger is better!!
You can never have too much storage!! :-) I've had three WD Red NAS drives fail on me and they are meant to be the best so I decided to try the IronWolf units instead. Haven't run them long enough to have any thoughts on reliability one way or the other but they are quiet and according to the NAS they run reasonably cool as well so here's hoping. Not wanting to put all my eggs in one basket so to speak so my next HDD will likely be one of the WD Ultrastar Enterprise Helium based units which are cheaper but come with a five year warranty instead of three.
