Nice Unit
Pros:
- This is a nice unit that I bought a couple weeks ago
- It was on sale so I paid less than the current list
- It replaced the Radio Shack unit we had used for years which had a pretty crummy FM radio in it
- This units radio works and sounds a lot better...and although I am a computer technician..

Sangean RCR-5 Clock Radio
Great clock radio. Small size. Good digital tuner. Brightness control. Sound is quite good for a clock radio. Nice that it also features an auxiliary input as well as an output for headphones or PC speakers.

I was surprised at the excellent sound quality from such a small radio. It does not take up much space on the table, the display is an orange color, but pleasing enough. You can dim or brighten the display with the use of the knob on the bottom of the radio.

Best Radio ever
Dollar for dollar this is it. Best Value and radio ever. I bought one and then went back and bought 3 more. Bathrooms/Bedrooms/Desktop spaces. Amazing reception.

Great Value
Performs as it should. I needed a connection for an earphone so I could listen at night without disturbing my wife. This is the only clock radio I could find with this feature. Small, compact, great night display, great presets and sleep functions.

SANGEAN CLOCK RADIO RCR5
Best clokck radio I have found. Costs a little more than many others but easy to set up and use, has all the required functions and sounds better than most others. Thoroughly recommended.

better than the rest!
I've tried out just about every clock radio with a digital tuner (a must have feature for convenient, "no guess" tuning) including "high end" clock radios from a number of quality, well-known retailers and this one is by far the best.

Happy!
Works quite well for my AM radio reception. This is my second Sangean radio (my first is a different model), and I will keep buying this brand. I listen to AM talk radio, and it is very difficult to find a radio that has decent enough reception.

It does wake me.
I wanted a radio alarm to replace my 1990 Sony, but the prices have changed. This radio had great reviews, but it turned out to be much smaller and tinnier than I expected. I also had visions of the "humane alarm" waking me to gradually increasing volume on the radio. It only works on the buzzerd.
