SanDisk is a world leading producer in NAND flash and NAND flash products. From consumer SD cards and USB drives to OEM flash storage, SanDisk is everywhere in this market. Just a few months ago, they released their highest end, enthusiast class SSD, the Extreme Pro.

Bought this to give my laptop some spring in its step, and its working out awesomely. I used to have to wait five to ten minutes after a complete shutdown for the old hybrid SSHD to get back up to speed, and now its popping on like smart phone.
Have 4 of these in different capacities, they work great. I use them with the Black magic recorder, and have 3 installed as SSD upgrades for iMacs and a Mac Pro
after a year of working with the San Disk Extreme 480 GB, it broke down and is inaccessible, not to recommend because of bad quality

Brilliant drive, works flawlessly as my main drive. As fast as I need, buyers beware, SSDs should be not be kept filled beyond 75% capacity to optimise the endurance of the drive.
