We all need a good USB flash drive these days and those of us who invested in a drive several years ago may well now be looking for something newer, fresher, quicker and with a much larger capacity.

Great memory stick and really fast with Windows 8.1 laptop to be recognised and access my files. Tad pricey but SanDisk been reliable for me in past, so good brand.

The humble USB port is no longer a fixture found only on desktop and notebook computers. Today it's possible to find this port on TVs, printers, digital photo frames, gaming consoles, cars and more.

I wanted to add some more information for those who use a Linux Operating System. This flash drive will not work with a Linux Operating System until the U3 software is removed from it. The software is easy to remove using Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP or 2000.

I purchased this product solely for use as a device for USB PVR (personal video recording)on HD tv set I had purchased or on HD set top box that comes with USB recording function. I also purchased this item because of relatively cheap price relative to what it used to cost.

Great data storage capacity for the money but the physical robustness of the device itself is less than desirable.

If you need speed out of your USB, this is a great option. however, there are cheaper options out there that can do the same stuff

-its fast; -its rather sturdy

-its bulky; -price per gb is very high
