Introduction As you can tell if you've been following our latest reviews, small portable storage solutions have been popular around here. We are very impressed and happy with the flash USB drives we've reviewed so far, and they are all similar in many ways.

Upgradeable storage capacity; Cool design; Convenient and flexible; Easy to use; especially with newer O/S's like Windows XP; 2 year warranty; USB extension cable and travel case included

USB extension cable will probably be too short for users with USB ports in back of PC; Moving parts could break although

SanDisk Cruzer Titanium U3 2GB USB Flash Drive

SanDisk has been a big and common household name ever since the introduction of flash memory into mainstream consumer hands. When the name 'CompactFlash' was mentioned during the times when majority of electronics such as PDAs and cameras used it, many will associate it with the name 'SanDisk'...

SanDisk Cruzer Professional USB drive

SanDisk actually sent us two new USB thumb drives in the well established Cruzer range to review, the other one being the Enterprise which is less Star Trek and more The Apprentice.

Speedy and secure; Vista ReadyBoost ready

Ugly and flimsy plastic casing

Absolutely essential computing product

The included U3 standard software and available free software make it easy to run your favourite types of applications on the road from any Windows machine you plug into (Mac not supported).

Easy To Install; Increases Speed; Large capacity; Reliable Performance; Retractable connector; Sheer usefulness; U3 and Portable Apps

No pocket clip; Plastic casing is flimsy

SanDisk Cruzer Professional

Admins have a few choices here. 1. Ban the blighters. 2. Don't ban them but make sure people use company drives. 3. Add encryption into that mix, surely the best choice of all. Whatever path is chosen, policies will be needed to manage them, or enforce their absence.

SanDisk Cruzer USB Drive 512 Mb

USB drives are wonderful things. SanDisk is one of the biggest names in USB drives, and I must say I am very happy with mine. I purchased it on sale and got the 512 Mb version for $17. 99 (after rebate), not a bad price at all. In retrospect, however, I wonder if I should have gotten a larger model.

Works well and Large capacity

Ok. I only paid about $15 on sale for this item. At this price for this capacity... this was an excellent deal. Works great too. Not the fastest but average in read / write performance. Large enough to keep up with which is nice. I have always been happy with SanDisk memory and had no failures.

lots of storage for price when on sale

not the fastest

SanDisk Cruzer Titanium Plus

The 4GB SanDisk Cruzer Titanium ($50) is a new kind of flash drive that offers an automated online backup each time it's attached to a computer with an Internet connection. This model looks almost exactly the same as the original SanDisk Cruzer Titanium , but this one lets you perform automatic...

Free six-month online backup subscription; fast transfer speeds; sturdy metal casing; innovative features; excellent warranty service

Expensive; backup software only works with Windows
