Great data storage capacity for the money but the physical robustness of the device itself is less than desirable.

Have used SanDisk USB drives and products exclusively for several years - until now. I purchased the 32GB Cruzer drive and used it for several months. Without warning, I found the drive to be write-protected.

I bought this as a gift, and the recipient is over the moon. Good thing is that the connector retracts into the "handle" thus protecting it from damage. The 16 Gig is plenty large enough for his requirement. We haven't tried the software - just using it as an external means of transporting data.

Great capacity for the money, transfers files fairly fast though not as quick as the Kingston 32GB Ultimate G3. Even works faster on a USB 2.0 port than a USB 2 drive in that same USB 2 port.
One flaw is that the LED indicator light is VERY dim!

If you need speed out of your USB, this is a great option. however, there are cheaper options out there that can do the same stuff
