This monitor is phenomenal--it was in great shape, the picture quality is insane, the response time is PHENOMENAL for a VA monitor, especially for such a bright and beautiful picture.

The best monitor I've ever had AMAZING specs would HIGHLY recommend!!!
This is my second 27 CFG70. I bought my first one directly from Samsung. It bore a serial number indicating Sept. 2016 manufacture. That one had a bigger problem (dead pixels in the middle of the screen) than the problems this one has. This one bears a serial number indicating Nov. 2016 manufacture.
Bought it in hopes it would help with eye strain (coming from 60Hz IPS with f.lux). And it did! Never am I going back to IPS (or TN/VA for that matter) or below 144Hz again. Although to be fair, it's not exactly like looking at a sheet of paper if you have to look at it all day, but it's miles...
Good things:- 1. Great gaming monitor that allows you save 3x preset configs that you activate by pressing a button on the monitor. 2. sRGB mode is excellent (I do a lot of photoshop), colours are great. 3. Freesync works flawlessly with with R390. 4. Position adjustment is effortless. 5.
The only potentially negative thing about this monitor is the large and somewhat bulky stand. However it is very adjustable because of said stand. Image wise it is brilliant, one of the better monitors I've seen once properly calibrated.
Cruel screen! Is thrilled. Have tried both Acer BE270U (IPS 75Hz) for 4999: - and Asus MG279Q (IPS, 144Hz) for 5990 - and both had backlight bleed and strange yellowish to white color.
