The wearable looked good and felt okay on my wrist, but above all, it could do much more than to tell me that I was late for my weekly editorial meeting. That's why I'm now excited to test the Samsung Gear S3 frontier, which comes with a bigger battery, a built-in speaker, and a dedicated GPS for improved location track...

The Samsung Gear S3 is the closest you can get right now to an Apple Watch killer. It works well on iOS, comes with a premium feeling, and has all the features you could expect to find on a smartwatch. The Gear S3 Frontier is not super expensive either, and offers undeniable value for the money.

When I reviewed the Gear S2 last year, I thought it was one of the better smartwatches on the market. Partly because Samsung design their Tizen OS to be a great operating system for smartwatches and wearables.

Works great on TMobile

Really wanted to love this. The only thing wilderness about it is the name. It's cool jogging the track, but not that useful in the back country. Can't track a swim. Auto-dim isn't reliable. Useless in the Wilderness without a network connection. Miserable battery life.

Amazing smartwatch

I got the s3 frontier about 2 weeks ago. It's the best looking smartwatch out there. I love all the fitness features. I love the bezel, size and weight. I was surprised to find out it came out 3yrs ago as it's still so relevant today. I get 2.5 days out of a full charge.
