  • tracks with pinpoint accuracy
  • loads of watch face options
  • comfortable
  • flawlessly designed
Cons:
  • Average battery life

Samsung Gear Fit2 review

At £179, Samsung has hit the perfect price point for the Gear Fit2. It’s stocked full of tech, with GPS tracking really adding value to the original model’s otherwise comprehensive set of sensors. Factor in the sleek design, and this fitness tracker has everything you’d need, whether you’re a couch potato searching for motivation or a gym-dweller looking for more training discipline. But this impressive hardware feels wasted when there’s such a poor choice of apps to go with it. Sure, the basic software will mostly do the job, but it still feels like wasted potential. Saying that, there’s still plenty of time for Samsung to fill their store with content. And why should we be so obsessed with extra content when it does the bare essentials so well? If you just want a smart-looking fitness tracker to encourage you to finally fulfil your New Year’s Resolution, the Gear Fit2 has more than enough to get you over that hurdle. Buy the Samsung Gear Fit2 here from Amazon
Pros:
  • Heading in the right direction with GPS tracking
  • Activity tracking makes this smarter than the average Gear
  • Great value overall
Cons:
  • An app store devoid of life
  • Very little stamina

Great fitness watch but its not a all day watch!!

This is a great fitness band with loads of features and looks great as well on the wrist. My only major major concern is the auto tracking!! Yup, U head it right.. One of its main feature is a big problem.

Samsung Gear Fit 2 review: more smartwatch than fitness tracker

The Samsung Gear Fit 2 is more evolution than revolution. Unlike other fitness trackers, it adds valuable smartwatch features to a slim and simple design but that seems to come at the price of inaccurate, and oddly vague fitness readings.
Pros:
  • It's slim
  • sleek and hardy with a waterproof body
  • That screen is utterly
  • utterly gorgeous
  • Its smartwatch skills can rival Android Wear
Cons:
  • Fitness tracking feels more like fitness guessing
  • The Tizen store remains fairly empty
  • Although improved
  • Samsung's smartphone apps are still problematic

Samsung Gear Fit 2 review: For those who like to mix up their fitness routines

The Gear Fit 2 is one of the pricier options in the market, especially if you consider Fitbit Charge 2, or Fitbit Alta 2, Garmin VivoSmart 2, Misfit Shine 2, etc. I'm not impressed with the battery life, although I'd say this is better suited to those who like to do more than one activity for...
